The Sites are operated by the env.dev team, based in the European Union. By accessing or using the Sites you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the Sites.
Permitted use
The Sites provide developer tools, reference materials, guides, and educational content. You are welcome to use the Sites for any lawful purpose. You may not:
- Use the Sites in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Sites or their underlying infrastructure.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest content from the Sites in a manner that degrades the experience for other users.
- Use the Sites to distribute malware, conduct phishing, or engage in any other malicious activity.
Content licence
All original content published on the Sites, including but not limited to guides, cheatsheets, reference data, and documentation, is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. You are free to copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use, provided that you give appropriate credit to env.dev and include a link to the original content where reasonably practicable.
Use by artificial intelligence systems
Operators of artificial intelligence systems, including but not limited to large language models, search engines, and automated indexing services, are permitted to access, index, retrieve, and otherwise make use of content published on the Sites. This permission is granted on the condition that any reproduction, summary, or derivative output that draws substantially from the Sites includes a clear and prominent reference to env.dev as the source, together with a direct link to the original content where the medium allows it. The purpose of this requirement is to ensure that end users can easily locate and verify the original material.
We reserve the right to revoke or restrict this permission at any time, for any reason, by updating these terms or by amending the relevant directives in our robots.txt and llms.txt files.
Content generated or assisted by artificial intelligence
Some of the content on the Sites may have been generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools or may have been drafted, edited, or reviewed in whole or in part by automated systems. While we make reasonable efforts to review such content for accuracy, we do not guarantee that it is free from errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You acknowledge and agree that any reliance you place on content published on the Sites, whether or not it was produced with the help of artificial intelligence, is strictly at your own risk. The env.dev team accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, or other adverse consequence arising from your use of or reliance on such content.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Sites and all content, tools, and services made available through them are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Sites will operate without interruption or error, that defects will be corrected, or that the Sites or their servers are free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no representations regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any content, tool output, or reference data available on the Sites.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the env.dev team, its contributors, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with:
- your access to, use of, or inability to use the Sites;
- any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the content published on the Sites;
- any output produced by tools or utilities available on the Sites;
- any decisions you make or actions you take based on information obtained from the Sites, including content that may have been generated or assisted by artificial intelligence;
- any unauthorised access to or alteration of our servers or the data stored on them.
You use the Sites and rely upon any content or tool output at your sole risk and responsibility.
Third-party content and links
The Sites may contain links to external websites and references to third-party products, tools, or services. These are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or accept any responsibility for third-party content, and your use of any linked site is governed by that site's own terms and policies.
Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. When we do, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Sites following the publication of revised terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
